Timirianya

Timirianya is a desolate planet in Betrayal at Krondor. It is first visited in Chapter 8.

History

The world of Timirianya was destroyed by the Valheru and is currently inhabited by Panath-Tiandn, humanoid serpents akin to Pantathians. During the Chaos Wars, the gods of Timirianya crystallized Timirianya's magic into solid manna to hide it from the Valheru, who consequently believed the world's energy had been depleted and left the planet.

Religion

The Temple of Karzeen Mauk, once located in the north, was the temple of the gods of Timirianya. All that remains of the structure are nine stone pillars within which the surviving gods have taken refuge. Only Dhatsavan, Lord of Gates, still has enough power left to communicate with visitors.

The Temple of Dhatsavan, also known as the Riftworld Mine, is buried underground, its ruins now occupied by Panath-Tiandn.

Magic

In order to cast magic on Timirianya, one must use a crystal staff and keep it charged with raw manna.
