Lorgan's Journal is a unique nonmarketable book about the Mac Mordain Cadal in Betrayal at Krondor. It can be found as early as Chapter 1.

Written by an unknown dwarf, the journal is a green book with gold fittings, located in a chest on the upper level of the Mac Mordain Cadal. It mostly concerns a creature that it variously names the Braek Nuir, Braak Noor, and Brak Nurr, but also mentions the secret chamber on the mine's lower level which was once occupied by Rhuargh.
The book occupies 1 Inventory space. It does not alter party stats, but after finding and reading it, they can ask Naddur Ban Dok about Rhuargh.

Its spine a patchwork of cracked hide and shiny leather, new pages sandwiched between ancient sheaves of parchment; the book had been repaired numerous times during its long history.
